Finding Our Relics
At Battle Hymn Arms we do our utmost to find interesting and, at times, very unique examples of early American weaponry. We keep tabs on the antique firearms market by constantly monitoring what is out there and what it is selling for. We spend a significant portion of our time researching and striving to know all that we can about these antique weapons.
There are many factors that can add or detract from the value of an antique. While we are far from perfect, we do everything possible to be extremely well informed. One of the most compelling parts of this market is that just about everything is unique. It may be the same make or model, but because of each firearm’s age and the wear received over 100+ years of use, they can all be very different.
Accordingly, pricing of these antiques can vary. In some cases, like with identified guns, they might be so unique that there are no easy comparisons to be made. With this in mind, we will always do our best to price these antiques as fairly as possible based on the market.
